Bilinear Isotropic Hardening Material Model. The Bilinear Isotropic Hardening (TB,BISO) option uses the von Mises yield criteria coupled with an isotropic work hardening assumption. This option is often preferred for large strain analyses. You can combine BISO with Chaboche, creep, viscoplastic, and Hill anisotropy options to simulate more complex material behaviors. See Material Model Combinations in the Element Reference for the combination possibilities. Also, see Material Model Combination Examples in this chapter for sample input listings of material combinations.
