Position Summary:
This position is for a test engineer working on sensor applications. The responsibilities are making/selecting test plan and release new products and improved product with the cooperation of design engineer.
This position requires strong technical fundamentals, good organization/documentation, statistical data analysis, strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate with customers and suppliers.
A high level of interaction with team members around the world is required.
Essential Job Functions:

Discuss with design engineer / project teams about product FMEA, Design / select release & qualification testing plan for new product and improved product
·
Supervise the technician to perform corresponding test, to make sure the test procedures comply with the requirement of TS 16949.
·
Analyze failures occurred during test together with design engineer, to find the possible root cause and give suggestion to the design engineer.
·
Compose comprehensive test reports including sample description, test conditions, raw data and data analysis and result.
·
Maintenance plan and trouble shooting of testing bench/chamber together with equipment engineer.
·
Manage the calibration / verification plan of all testing gauges and benches in the test lab.
·
Communicates globally to internal and external customers including suppliers and customers.
Position Requirements/Skills:
·
Strong understanding of vibration, temperature and environmental test for automotive electric/electronic component is a must.
·
Strong understanding of testing procedure and the important influence factors during the procedure is a must, work experience in a TS16949 or ISO17025 certified testing organization is a plus.
·
Knowledge / experience of Failure Mode analysis for electric/electronic components.
·
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly, statistical methods, process control fundamentals and product test processes.
·
Strong communication skills, written and verbally (English language skills preferred)
·
Knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Windows, Excel and Outlook).
·
Capable of setting priorities, being proactive and achieving results.
·
Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems – strong problem solving skills.
·
Ability to meet customers demands on schedule and within budget.
·
Ability to clearly present testing concepts to customers, managers and peers.
·
Ability to work with other cross-functional teams including component development, quality, marketing, purchasing, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes.
Education and Experience Required:
·
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 4+ years testing experience in automotive area
Masters Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2+ years testing experience in automotive area
