SYSNOISE is a numerical analysis system for acoustic and structural acoustic modeling and is used as an integral part of the computerized design process (CAD/CAM/CAE, Computer Aided Design, Engineering and Manufacturing). By allowing early predictions of the acoustic behavior of a new product, SYSNOISE contributes to the success of the concurrent engineering strategy now prevailing in most industries. COMET/Acoustics is a general purpose acoustic analysis software which computes the sound radiated from a vibrating structure or the sound generated within an enclosures. Three methods of formulation are available in order to provide a comprehensive analysis: Indirect Boundary Elements, Direct Boundary Elements, and Finite Elements. All of these methods perform the analysis in the frequency domain. COMET/Acoustics also has its own graphical user interface (GUI) specifically tailored for acoustic analysis. The GUI is called COMET/Vision.
