The 2D displays of acoustic power allow you to visualize it in three different ways as explained below:
Total Values – It contains both the Active Part and the Reactive Part of the acoustic power, stored as a complex number i.e. Total Values = Complex (Active Value, Reactive Value).
Active Part - It contains only the Active Part of the acoustic power, stored as a complex number i.e. Active Part = Complex (Active Value, 0).
Reactive Part - It contains only the Reactive Part of the acoustic power, stored as the real part of a complex number i.e. Reactive Part = Complex (Reactive Value, 0).
The reason why the 3 formats are offered in the displays is because you would typically want to view them in dB format.
Moving the Active Power and Reactive Power in separate curves is the only way to also view them separately in dB's.
