<!--StartFragment --> Home Call for paper Important Date Technical Programs Paper Submission Registration <BR>Exposition Program Committees Organizing Committees Venue Information Contact Us <BR>The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics International Conference on Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics <BR>ICMEM2005<BR>October 26-28, 2005<BR><BR>Nanjing, China<BR><BR>This conference will bring scientists, researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in multi-disciplinary areas in mechanical engineering together to explore advanced theories and state-of-art technologies. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for presenting, sharing and exchanging knowledge, ideas, methodologies, innovations and experiences in all areas embraced by mechanical engineering. The conference will offer a unique opportunity to foster international cooperation and establish contacts with participants from a number of countries. <BR><BR>Nine simultaneous tracks will be held, covering different aspects of Engineering Design, Mechatronics and Robotics, Applied Mechanics, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, MEMS, Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design Art and Mechanical Engineering Education. Papers describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques and general survey papers indicating future directions are also encouraged. Papers describing original work are invited in any of the areas listed below. Both full research reports and work-in-progress reports are welcome.<BR><BR>ICMEM2005 is organized by Nanjing University of Science and Technology (P.R.China) , Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (U.S.A) and City University of Hong Kong. The conference will be held during October 26-28, 2005 at eastern scenic resort in Nanjing, one of the best beautiful cites of China. <BR><BR>Topic Areas / Conference Tracks <BR><BR>Nine topic areas are expanded below but the sub-topics list is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by them. Unlisted but related sub-topics are also acceptable, provided they fit in one of the following main topic areas:<BR><BR>Engineering Design<BR>Mechatronics and Robotics<BR>Applied Mechanics<BR>Advanced Manufacturing Technology<BR>MEMS<BR>Vehicle Engineering<BR>Industrial Engineering<BR>Design Art<BR>Mechanical Engineering Education<BR>Abstract Submission<BR><BR>Authors should submit a 400 words abstract in English to the ICMEM2005 paper submitting email account (paper@icmem.org) no later than April 30, 2005. Abstracts should clearly state personal information (including authors full name(s) (please including Chinese name if the authors are Chinese), gender, nationality, affiliation (employer, working unit), email, phone number, fax number, personal contact address, etc.), the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the full paper. For assistance with submitting your abstract online, please email t mailtpaper@icmem.org?subject=Paper Submission. Accepted abstract will be notified before May 15, 2005.<BR><BR>Acceptance of Paper<BR><BR>Each paper in English should clearly indicate the nature of its technical/scientific contribution, and the problems, domains or environments to which it is applicable. The full paper should be submitted before June 30, 2005 and the notification of paper acceptance with comments and requirements will reach authors before July 30, 2005. The Revised/Final Paper should be submitted before August 20, 2005. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings in CD-format and will be indexed by EI (in proceeding) and some excellent papers will be cited by SCI. Revised and expanded version of selected papers presented at the conference will be published by Science Press, P. R. China. <BR> |
