I believe LAN-XI is a very good data acquisition product, the only problem may be its price. The price of one 3050-B-060 module with 6-ch input should be more than 100K rmb, it is higher than other products.
a. Dedicated IEEE 1588 PTP switches are not commercially available at time of printing. Until dedicated commercial switches
are available, systems will have to be based on standard high-performance LAN switches. Using a high-performance
switch, measurements will be sample and time synchronised, but phase cannot be guaranteed.
Note, however, that within a single module or frame:
– all channels are 100% phase-matched independently of PTP
– all LAN-XI and IDAe frames can be connected using our standard IDAe synchronisation cable, ensuring that all channels
are phase matched.
