康明斯涡轮增压技术系统(Cummins Turbo Technologies,原英国霍尔塞特公司,1952年成立,2006年更为现名),是康明斯全资子公司,设计、制造三升以上柴油和天然气发动机的全系列涡轮增压器及相关产品,主要应用于商用车辆、工程机械、矿山设备、船舶动力和发电机组等领域,是世界上最大的中型和重型涡轮增压器制造商。
康明斯涡轮增压技术系统的总部设在英国西约克郡的哈德斯菲尔德市,生产基地分布在英国、巴西、中国、荷兰、印度和美国,在英国本土和中国无锡还设有研发中心。

Position Title:
APPLIED MECHANICS – STRESS AND FATIGUE ENGINEER
Reporting to:
Group Leader, Core Technologies
Main Purpose of the Position (including reporting structure)
1) To perform finite element analysis (FEA) and fatigue life analysis of turbocharger components to support the design and approval process.
2) To be part of the team to develop tools and methods to enable ‘right first time’ component design and thus reduce new product development lead times.
Key Responsibilities (Must include relevant responsibility for quality as per Cummins Quality Policy):
1) To perform 3D component analysis – static, dynamic and thermo-mechanical loading
2) To perform component life calculations using fatigue prediction methods
3) To support new product introduction and technology research
4) To work in functional and cross-functional teams
Experience Required:
1) Experience in FEA, preferably Ansys, dynamic or thermo-mechanical analysis
2) Knowledge of fatigue and life analysis techniques, and understanding of component life calculations
3) Knowledge of Unix systems preferred
Education/Qualification required (classify as essential and optional):
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent.
Most Critical Skills (NB All bar Functional/Technical skills identified by use of competency selection cards) :

1) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science or equivalent.
2) Experience in FEA, preferably Ansys, dynamic or thermo-mechanical analysis
